ABOUT OBESITY
Obesity is a serious and rising health epidemic in our country. It is a condition associated with having an excess of body fat, defined by genetic and environmental factors that are difficult to control when dieting. Obesity is classified as having a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or greater.
The Light Study is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled long-term research study of Contrave® (naltrexone SR/bupropion SR), an investigational drug being evaluated for weight loss.
